Seminar - Dr. Lluis Gutierrez

Dr. Lluis Gutierrez will present his current research activities. The seminar will cover topics related with Access Networks, particulary the so-called WDM-PON and its current state-of-the art. First we will review the legacy xPON, i.e.: BPON / GPON and GE-PON and then we will introduce the nest generation networks based on WDM: concepts, algorithm, etc. Some of the more interesting "papers" of such topics will be commented along the session.
