Location

The laboratories of BAMPLA are located in the Escola Politècnica Superior de Castelldefels (Castelldefels School of Technology, EPSC) within the Baix Llobregat Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Technical University of Catalonia, UPC) situated in the Parc Mediterrani de la Tecnologia (Mediterranean Technology Park, PMT), in the seaside town of Castelldefels, in the metropolitan Barcelona area. This is located next to the Canal Olímpic and ten minutes to the beach.

	Train (RENFE)
	The Castelldefels train station is just 300 metres from the PMT and connects it to Barcelona by the RENFE Rodalies (local trains) line C-2. From Barcelona-Passeig de Gracia and Barcelona-Sants, four to six trains run every hour and the journey time is 20-30 minutes. 	The PMT is 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Barcelona downtown. C-32 motorway (formerly A-16): exit 46. C-31 motorway (formerly N-246): exit Canal Olímpic. There is a parking area next to it along the Olympic Canal, see map.

	If you arrive by plane... ...from the Airport "El Prat", Barcelona
	Taking a taxi from the airport would be the best option. Approximate price: 15-20 €. Directions for the driver, see below.
	By car, take C-31 motorway (formerly N-246), to Castelldefels. Exit Canal Olímpic
	... from Girona Airport (RyanAir)
	Take the motorway AP-7, direction Barcelona. While approaching Barcelona, follow the signs "Ronda de Dalt - Llobregat". This road links with the motorway C-32. Exit at 46 - Castelldefels. Then follow the signs to either Canal Olímpic or Campus UPC.
	Barcelona Bus - Single Ticket 11 € / Return ticket 19 €. Journey time 1h 10min. The bus stops in the Estació del Nord Bus Station, located in Alí Bei St. From there, take the metro to Paseig de Gracia or Sants Estació and take the RENFE local train (see above) to Castelldefels.
	... from Reus Airport (RyanAir)
	Take the motorway AP-7, direction Barcelona. While approaching El Vendrell, follow the signs "Autopista de Pau Casals/C-32". This road links with the motorway C-32. Exit at 44 - Castelldefels. Then follow the signs to either Canal Olímpic or Campus UPC.
	Barcelona Bus - Single Ticket 11 € / Return ticket 19 €. Journey time 1h 10min. The bus stops in the Sants Estació and take the RENFE local train (see above) to Castelldefels.
