The HDVIPER project final event will take place on October 14th afternoon in the auditorium of Citilab, Cornellà (Barcelona).
With a duration of 2 years, a 2.8 MEuros total budget and a project consortium composed by 9 partners from Poland, Spain and Sweden, HDVIPER main aim is to promote Europe’s role as a leading technological player by implementing an open and scalable HD videoconferencing platform, called Snake.
HDVIPER project is carried out in the framework of CELTIC, an EUREKA cluster programme that initiates and stimulates R&D projects on telecommunications systems and services.

Final demonstration will consist in including two more people to the debate via a live high definition (1080i) multiconference connecting Sweden (Stockholm), Poland (Poznan) and Spain (Cornellà) through a dedicated 100 Mbps Internet connection.
